• As a catalyst, promotes projects in the joint/associate sectors with equity participation
• GIIC promoted projects include blue chip companies like Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd, Gujarat Ambuja Cements, Gujarat Gas Company, Essar Gujarat, Gujarat Heavy Chemicals, Torrent Gujarat Biotech, Gujarat Petrochemicals, etc.
• As a nodal agency, considers proposals for financing infrastructure projects in power, ports, roads, bridges, other infrastructure projects.
