• Framing policies for involvement of other public sector infrastructure development agencies.
• Establishing liaison with banks and other financial institutions interested in financing infrastructure projects.

Implements policies to promote tourism in the state

• Infrastructure policy - sectoral reforms, general policy and privatisation guidelines.
• Infrastructure planning - master plan and sectoral plan, linkage plans, promote vision on infrastructural needs and dynamics.
• Infrastructure Regulations - sectoral regulations.
• Infrastructure promotion - commissioning feasibility studies, marketing, financial, technical and user tie-ups.
• Infrastructure Co-ordination - information repository, resolution of inter-department/inter-agencies related issues.
• Infrastructure clearance - clearance of infrastructure projects requiring inter- departmental, inter-sectoral reference.
